Acting is ancillary aspect of my career, says Eva Longoria

Eva Longoria has admitted that she has always seen acting as an ancillary aspect of her career that makes her work as a producer.

The 'Desperate Housewives' star said at a conference that she has always been a producer and a director, but whenever happened to fall into acting it's always been a subsidiary, Deadline.com has reported.

The 40-year-old American actress explained further that her ultimate goal is to give back and has always seen acting as a means to an end, which has been her philanthropic work.
