Adidas have reportedly unveiled a new pair of all in one football boots with a knitted outer layer.
The new boot called the Adidas Primeknit FS comes with a sock attached to it and features a knitted outer layer like the recently released Samba Primeknit, the report added.
According to Metro.co.uk, the half sock and half football boot hybrid is aimed at helping players to improve their first touch with a skin-like feel, as the new boot eliminates the layers that are created from overlays of socks and laces.
Adidas ambassadors like Lionel Messi, Oscar and Mesut Ozil may reportedly be the first players to sport the new boots.
An Adidas spokesman said that the water resistant Primeknit FS is expected to provide new levels of flexibility and comfort with stability and strength equal to that of conventional boots, the report added.
