Afghanistan cricket team coach Andy Moles has kept a very low profile in Kabul since risking his life by accepting a one-year contract to coach the World Cup minnows.
Moles said that he just stays in his hotel room, adding that he doesn't go to restaurants or anything like that.
Moles said that although there's a lot of soldiers and armed guards around, one is actually not aware of any issues going on unless one happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, which he claims could be anywhere in the world, News.com.au reported.
Moles said that the only thing one says is it happens probably a little bit more often in Kabul than it does in Canberra.
The Afghanistan coach said that one has to be aware of ones security issues and added that he is a full believer of if he happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time then so be it.
Moles claimed that the players have worked hard and the Afghan public have been very grateful for him to be involved. He added that the guys are listening and they want him to help them move forward and that in itself gives him great incentive to keep doing it.
Moles claimed that all the time he has been there he doesn't feel threatened.
