Afghanistan's President, Ashraf Ghani, has condemned the recent attack on a Pakistan Air Force (PAF) base near Peshawar.

According to The Dawn, Ghani's conveyed this during a telephonic conversation with Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday.

The Afghan president denounced the attack on Badaber Airforce base and extended his "heartfelt condolences on the demise of civilians and military personnel in the incident", according to details provided in the statement.

He also said that the Afghan Government would never allow the country's land to be used against Pakistan.
