Afghanistan says will provide proof of Pak interference in country's affairs

Afghanistan says it is willing to provide Islamabad with evidence to back claims of Pakistan's flagrant interference in the country's internal affairs.

The country said it would prove its claims to Pakistan provided the latter was sincere in its efforts to fight terrorism.

Kabul plans to seek support from the United Nations in a bid to stop cross-border attacks.

Afghan media reports suggest recommendations would be made on the sidelines of the UN's General Assembly meeting to be held in three weeks, the Express tribune reports.

The Afghan government will ask UN to put pressure on Pakistan to halt all rocket and artillery fire into Afghanistan, particularly Kunar province, the report said.

Afghan spy agency says Pakistan has increased interference in Afghanistan's internal affairs to create uncertainty about the political future of the country.

Spokesman for Afghanistan's intelligence agency, NDS, Haseeb Siddiqi said the country has evidence proving the involvement of Pakistani security agencies.

Siddiqi claimed that Pakistan has now changed its policy in Afghanistan and intended to spread mistrust among Afghans about their future.
