Minister of State for External Affairs E Ahamed is visiting Kuwait from July 6-8 to discuss welfare of the Indian Expatriate Community living in Kuwait.
The visit is coming in the backdrop of recent measures taken up by the Kuwait Authorities against the expatriate communities for visa and other violations. There has been lot of anxiety in the Indian Community because of these measures.
Ahamed is slated to meet Kuwaiti Foreign Minister and Interior Minister and will call on the Crown Prince.
He will also meet a wide section of the Indian Community based in Kuwait to discuss with them their issues and concerns and to address those in the best possible way.
