All India Football Federation on Wednesday appointed Floyd Pinto as the head coach of the Delhi-based Indian Arrow football club.
The decision was taken unanimously at AIFF's technical committee meeting, headed by the chairman of the committee, Shyam Thapa.
Team director Abhishek Yadav apprised the committee about the performances of all the national teams including the U-16 squad, which is slated to play in the AFC U-16 Championship in September in Malaysia.
Besides AIFF general secretary Kushal Das and national team director Abhishek Yadav, Henry Menezes, Sundar Raman and Pradip Datta also attended the meeting.
Meanwhile, the committee confirmed that the deputy coach of the Indian Arrow will be appointed later after shortlisting applications for the post.
