National carrier Air India's first Airbus 320 neo aircraft will be delivered on February 16. A total of seven Airbus 320 aircrafts will be included to strengthen the Air India fleet.
"Airbus 320 neo aircraft is a passenger friendly aircraft. In addition to being fuel efficient, it has more seat capacity. The first aircraft will be deployed to the Delhi-Chennai route, scheduled to commence operations by the end of this month," an Air India spokesperson said.
As per data, the Air India fleet comprises 24 airbus 320 aircrafts, most of which are being considered for replacement by the neo Airbus 320 aircrafts.
