Ajman's tourism development department has set a new Guinness World Record by creating the largest greeting card mosaic to mark UAE's 42nd National Day.

According to Gulf News, the 121-square metre mosaic is made up of 5,500 postcards and spells out the slogan "Union Spirit".

Four thousand volunteers took part in the event that was overseen by officials from Guinness World Records.
