Al-Shahab, the Somali terror group that conducted the Nairobi mall massacre on Saturday, has claimed that a total of 137 hostages have died in the mall siege which ended on Tuesday.
However, the figures are higher than the number of people officially registered as missing and it's impossible to verify whether the claim is correct.
The terror group also accused Kenyan troops of firing projectile containing chemical agents to end the four-day stand-off with mujahedeen, Dawn News reports.
The group also blamed the Kenyan government for demolishing the building and burying evidence and all hostages under the rubble.
President of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta announced the end of the Nairobi mall crisis that killed 61 civilians and six security forces soldiers. Police said the death toll was provisional, with the Kenyan Red Cross listing 63 people as still missing.
The group said they carried out the attack because the Kenyan Government had meddled in Somalia's affairs, killed and displaced people, and looted their resources for a very long time.
