Alaska hit by 7.1 magnitude earthquake

A 7.1-magnitude earthquake struck Alaska on Sunday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
According to CNN, the epicenter struck about 162 miles southwest of Anchorage, and was about 50 miles deep.
The USGS reports that there is a low likelihood of casualties and damages, and that "weak" shaking could be felt in the nearby cities.
