Amazon launched an all-new entry-level Kindle that now boasts a self-illuminated screen. It costs USD 90, which is higher than the predecessor that was launched back in 2016.
The new Kindle comes in black or white colour choices and features an updated design. It weighs heavier than the previous model at 174 grams, and is equipped with the latest electronic ink technology for better contrast, Cnet reports.
It features a 6-inch 167 ppi electronic-ink display, Bluetooth connectivity, and upgraded capacitive touch. It includes 4GB of internal storage.
Amazon is offering gift card for trade-ins of old e-readers along with a 25 percent discount on new device.
The new Kindle is available for pre-order and starts shipping from April 10.
