After Donald Trump gave a controversial speech about Mexican immigrants, actress America Ferrera has penned an open letter to him, thanking him for being "ignorant and racist."
In a letter posted on Huffington Post Latino Voices, the 31-yer-old 'Ugly Betty' star wrote "Thank you for reminding us that there remains an antiquated and endangered species of bigots in this country that we must continue to combat."
Targeting Trump's 2016 Presidential candidature, she added that his "straight talk" would send more Latino voters to the polls than several registration rallies combined, The Hollywood Reporter reported.
The actress even mentioned how Latinos were the "largest, youngest and fastest-growing constituency" in the U.S., reminding him that without their vote he had no chance of winning the election.
"If you don't believe me, you could ask President Bush or you could even ask President Obama," she continued.
