Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah said that seeing the kind of support that was visible to him in Jharkhand, the BJP would surely form the state government in the next assembly elections.
Addressing a rally here on Monday, Shah praised the work done by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) so far.
Shah said, "From foreign policies, border security or other issues: within 100 days of the government coming to power, a strong initiative has been taken.
"The GDP has started increasing and after many years, people can see that the price of petrol is declining. The inflation will also surely reduce in the coming days," he added.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP had won 12 of a possible 14 seats in Jharkhand, an encouraging sign for the party ahead of the state assembly elections to be held later this year.
