Kejriwal claims having recorded footage of BJP leader Dagar trying to bribe AAP MLAs

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal on Monday claimed to have in his possession a recorded footage of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sher Singh Dagar trying to bribe AAP MLAs.

"BJP's dirty game has been exposed, as its leader Sher Singh Dagar tried to bribe our MLAs. We will lodge an FIR against this act of BJP and we will put the entire raw footage of this incident tomorrow in the Supreme Court," said Kejriwal.

Kejriwal further said that the BJP leader tried to bribe AAP member Vivek Yadav. He also said that Dagar offered around Rs four crore to AAP MLA Dinesh Mohania.

"We feel that the life of both our members Vivek Yadav and Dinesh Mohania is in danger and if anything happens to them in the coming days then the BJP will be responsible for it. The BJP has betrayed the people of Delhi and they will take revenge in the coming elections," he added.

Kejriwal, however, assured the media that none of the AAP MLAs is going with the BJP.

Asserting that this horse-trading issue has been going on from the past one month, Kejriwal further said Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung should not invite the BJP to form the government in Delhi after this exposure.

Meanwhile, AAP MLA Dinesh Mohania appealed to the BJP to stop the dishonest politics.

"We have all the videos, it's been going on from the past one month, Vivek Yadav is AAP worker, he comes from South Delhi constituency, I was directly approached first and then I informed the party about it and later involved Vivek Yadav. Talks were going on before also but now all videos are available," said Mohania.

Another AAP leader Manish Sisodia said, "The BJP has been saying that are not doing any kind of purchasing, but this video clearly shows what they are doing and are trying to bribe AAP MLAs. This is horse-trading only."

"They are in touch with many of the MLAs. We have given one proof of horse-trading which they have been denying till now. Since the last one month they contacted Dinesh Mohania and tried to get him into their party, but he informed us everything," Sisodia added.

Delhi has been under the President's rule since February 17 this year after former chief minister Arvind Kejriwal had resigned over the non-introduction of the Jan Lokpal Bill in the state Assembly.
