Amity physiotherapy OPD to provide free services to all strata of society

Amity University added yet another feather to its cap by launching free "Physiotherapy OPD" at the Amity campus in Noida on Wednesday.

Inaugurating the Physiotherapy OPD , Dr. Ashok K Chauhan- Founder President, Amity Group said that today's life abounds with stress and hectic schedules, which take a toll on a person's physical well being, including wrong postures used while sitting, working, walking and sleeping.

Dr. Chauhan, who is a true philanthropist and an altruist, announced that the OPD and all the services offered by it will be free of cost during the initial three months for everybody and would cater to all strata of society.

Amity Physiotherapy OPD, which is established near Gate No. 1, will work under the able supervision of Dr. Harshita Sharma- (PT), Acting Head, Amity Physiotherapy College.

The OPD will be open from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm and will provide relief to patients suffering from Facial Paralysis/ Stroke, Neck pain, Shoulder Pain, Tennis Elbow, Repetitive Stress Injury/Sports Injury, Carpel Tunnel Syndrome, Hand Pain/ Injuries, Low Back Pain, Hip Pain, Hamstring Strain, Knee Pain/ Osteo- arthritis, Leg Pain, Calf Pain, Ankle Spain, Heel Pain and Foot Abnormalities.
