Apple's attempts to convince Android users to switch to iOS is bearing fruits in Europe as latest data from Kantar WorldPanel showed that about 33 percent of new iPhone sales were to former Android users in Q1 of 2015.
Boasting about the numbers, Apple CEO Tim Cook had said during Apple's most recent earnings call that the firm continued to see a higher rate of switchers than they had seen in previous cycles. He also said that the current iPhone lineup had seen the highest number of Android switcher rate in any of the last three launches in the three previous years, reported The Verge.
Apple had released step-by-step guides for migrating data to iOS and also extended its trade-in program to cover all smartphones in March this year in a bid to woo switchers.
