Veteran star Anupam Kher has received a British Academy Television Award (BAFTA) nomination for his role in the BBC TV movie 'The Boy With The Topknot'.
The 63-year-old, who is up for Best Supporting Actor this year, is 'honoured and humbled' for the nomination.
The 'A Wednesday' star took to Twitter to share his happiness as he wrote, "Thank you @BAFTA for the nomination. I feel honoured and humbled. ???? #TheBoyWithTheTopKnot"
His fellow nominees in the category are Adrian Dunbar for 'Line of Duty', Brían F. O'Byrne for 'Little Boy Blue' and Jimmi Simpson for the 'Black Mirror episode titled USS Callister.
Based on the memoir of British Sikh Sathnam Sanghera, Anupam Kher stars as the father, British actor Sacha Dhawan in 'The Boy With The Topknot'.
