Anurag Srivastava on Monday took charge as the official spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) from Raveesh Kumar.
"Honoured and privileged to take over as the Official Spokesperson of @MEAIndia. I look forward to working closely with all to fulfill my responsibilities in this new role," Srivasatava tweeted from the official handle of MEA spokesperson.
Kumar, the outgoing MEA spokesperson wished his succesor for the new role.
"Time to pass the baton. After 33 months of an incredible opportunity to serve the nation, my best wishes to Anurag Srivastava as the next Official Spokesperson of @MEAIndia. Grateful for the understanding and support of my family, friends & colleagues during this journey," Kumar tweeted from his personal handle.
