Apple Design Award-winning app developer Tapity has reportedly introduced its own version of the tragic Flappy Bird game, which was taken down by its creator for being addictive.
The company, known for apps like Languages, Grades 3, and Hours, rolled out the "Buffalo Wings," another filler for Nguyen Dong's Flappy Bird.
According to Tech Crucnh, Tapity founder Jeremy Olson said that the main motivation for creating the clone was to fill the gaping hole that appeared in the Flappy Bird market after the original game was pulled out.
Since the game was replaced with a lot of low-quality clones, including Flappy Wings, Hoppy Frog, Flying Cyrus - Wrecking Ball, Splashy Fish, among others, Olson felt the need to experiment with a clone that had good quality.
The report said that building the clone became a family project for Olson, who roped in his dad for audio, high school sister for the app's funny buffalo acts and younger brother doing the coding and designing the pixilated buffalo.
