Apple is reportedly in talks with 3D sensing company PrimeSense, based in Tel Aviv; however, the details of the deal aren't disclosed yet.

Israeli publication Calcalist estimated the deal between the tech giant and PrimeSense at 345 million dollars.

Sources revealed that the deal hasn't been completed yet due to issues like liquidity preferences, and the value of the deal would not be a big jump over for investors, AllThingsD reports.

The report said that PrimeSense was the original supplier for Microsoft's breakthrough Kinect or gesture-based gaming device.

It is speculated that PrimeSense's technology could be valuable for any number of actual and hypothetical Apple products, including wearable devices and televisions.

Both Apple and PrimeSense declined to comment on the speculated deal.
