Tech giant Apple's much anticipated iWatch will only be available in markets by the beginning of 2015, say reports.

According to CNET, the device will miss the peak selling season in the tech market.

However, Apple authorities refused to comment on the issue.

The gap between the unveiling and shipment of device is quite big which is similar to the first iPhone that was announced in January 2007 and was not shipped until June.

Apple's iWatch is the company's first wearable device as a response to Google glass.
