Apple SVP of global marketing Phil Schiller has reportedly unfollowed Nest CEO Tony Fadell on Twitter, following news of Google having purchased Nest for a whopping 3.2 billion dollars.

Schiller, evidently unhappy with the development, unfollowed both Nest and its CEO days after the news broke out.

Taking a dig at Samsung during its release of Samsung Galaxy S4, the marketing chief had called Android a "cheap replacement for a feature phone" and dropped his Instagram account after the app was made available for Android users, Verge reported.

Meanwhile, Schillers displeasure seems to have no effect on the relationship of Apple and Nest with Nest still enjoying a suitable position in the Apple Online Store.
