Avril Lavigne, who is married to Canadian musician Chad Kroeger, has given birth to speculations that the duo might be heading for a split.
Sources have revealed that the couple's relationship is still on the rocks as it was earlier revealed that the musicians have been fighting a lot, E! Online reported.
According to the sources, the 30-year-olds' pals were encouraging the singer to try and work it out. Sources added that motherhood was something the Canadian singer really wanted for herself and this thing with Kroeger, it was going to go one of two ways i.e. either the duo will get rid of each other or there was a shot they might try to have a baby to save the marriage.
The two met when they were collaborating on Lavigne's album.
