Arjun Kapoor's 'Half Girlfriend' goes on floors today
Arjun Kapoor, who is basking in the success of 'Ki and Ka,' has kicked off the shooting of his much-awaited film 'Half Girlfriend'.
Announcing the news on his Instagram page, the The Ishaqzaade' actor posted a picture, wherein he could be seen lying with basketball in his hand and wrote, "And so it begins... #halfgirlfriend #basketball @mohitsuri @shraddhakapoor Let's Play !!!"
Film Critic Taran Adarsh too took to his Twitter handle and wrote, "Mohit Suri's #HalfGirlfriend, starring Arjun Kapoor as a basketball player, commences shoot today..."
Directed by Mohit Suri, the forthcoming movie, which is based on the novel 'Half Girlfriend' by Chetan Bhagat, will see Arjun portraying the role of a national-level basketball player, Madhav Jha.
The movie, which also stars Shraddha Kapoor in the lead role, is slated to hit the theatres on April 28, 2017.
