Army jawans killed in Kupwara encounters laid to rest

Two army jawans, who were killed in encounters with militants in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district, were laid to rest here on Monday.

The soldiers were killed in two separate incidents on Sunday. One soldier was critically injured in a gunfight and was brought to the Army Base Hospital in Srinagar's Badami Bagh cantonment where he succumbed to his injuries, while the other soldier was killed in a guerilla attack near the Line of Control (LoC).
