The Indian Army on Monday organised a medical camp at Belughat village in East Karbi Anglong area of Assam
The Samilangso based Army Camp aimed at screening locals for medical problems, treating ailments and creating health awareness among the masses.
A total of 1034 patients were examined and given treatment including 512 males, 354 females and 168 children.
The Army Doctors were assisted by civil doctors: Dr. Longbiran Derah and Dr Suresh from Dentaghat PHC, Dr. Jangmi Derapi from Central Bazaar PHC along with paramedics from Dentaghat PHC, Debira Mij and Padori Lukhura Khan.
The people expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the dedicated efforts of Army and Civil Doctors for their assistance. The humane act of Samilangso based Army Camp was very much appreciated by the civil population and administration.
