Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi, who will be seen playing the lead role in upcoming comedy flick 'Guddu Rangeela', opened up on the controversy surrounding the song 'Mata ka email'.
Speaking exclusively to ANI, Warsi said there is nothing derogatory about this song.
"I think people should calm down and there is nothing derogatory about the song, it's not trying to hurt anyone's sentiments. It's a very normal regular song that sets the pace of the film. It's entertaining, fun and a quirky song," said Warsi.
"Subhash (the Director) never meant to hurt anybody's sentiments. I would just say wait till Friday, see the film and I am sure that people will change their minds," he added.
Directed by Subhash Kapoor, the film also stars Amit Sadh, Aditi Rao Hydari and Ronit Roy in prominent roles.
Presented by Fox Star Studios and produced by Sangeeta Ahir, this film is slated to release on July 3. (ANI)
