Arun Jaitley undergoes laparoscopic surgery for diabetes management

Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley successfully underwent a planned elective laparoscopic procedure for diabetes management here today.

Jaitley had been admitted to a private hospital in Saket on Monday.

The Minister's health condition had recently deteriorated and he had to read a part of his maiden budget speech while sitting down in the Lok Sabha.
