Assam Chief Tarun Gogoi and MoS Home affairs, Kiren Rijiju pay tribute to SP and PSO killed by militants

Assam Chief minister Tarun Gogoi and Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju visited Karbi Anglong in Assam to pay homage to the Superintendent of Police (SP) and policeman killed in an encounter with the militants in Assam's Hamren District.

The senior police officer was leading a raid, involving three police parties, against the Karbi Peoples' Liberation Tigers (KPLT) militants late on Thursday.
