At least 20 killed by militants in Balochistan

Militants in Mastung area of Balochistan in Pakistan have killed at least 20 people and injured several others as they opened fire at kidnapped passengers.

According to Dawn News, suspected militants had abducted two passenger buses earlier in the evening which were en route from Karachi to Pishin.

They stopped two passenger coaches at Khad Kucha area of Mastung and opened fire at them after they were taken out from the coaches, said an official.

Balochistan Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti confirmed in a statement that 20 passengers had been killed by the militants.

No terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
