Four killed in Saudi mosque suicide attack

At least four people have been killed in a suicide bomb attack outside a Shia mosque in Saudi Arabia's Dammam city during Friday prayers.

The Dawn quoted the Saudi interior ministry, as saying that the attempt was foiled by the authorities after a bomber trying to enter the mosque was stopped by the security guards but, he blew himself up in the parking lot.

Photos posted by journalists on Twitter showed thick clouds of smoke and a fire blazing at the scene of the blast.
