Australian coordinators of the Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 search have dismissed new theory by "volunteer investigator" Andre Milne that insisted that the aircraft is in the Bay of Bengal.
According to News.com.au, the self described aviation technology expert is seeking donations to help fund a 2.5 million dollar search of the area between India and Malaysia which he believes is the resting place of the aircraft.
He said that satellite data shows an object similar to MH370 resting in the northern part of the Bay of Bengal.
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau officials insist MH370 is not where Milne claims.
Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 disappeared more than one year ago while it was en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 239 people on board.
