Avril Lavigne, who hasn't been seen in public since September, has apparently told a Twitter fan that she is unwell with an undisclosed problem.
The 30-year-old singer posted a message to AvrilMusicChart, saying that she feels bad because she hasn't been able to say anything to the fans to let them know why she has been absent, the Mirror reported.
The 'Complicated' singer wrote that "I'm not feeling well. I'm having some health issues. So please keep me in your prayers. (sic)"
Lavigne, who is married to Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger, publicly responded to the Twitter account after they sent well wishes by writing "thank you.
