Ayushmann Khuranna will be turning into a 'Bangali babu' for his upcoming flick 'Meri Pyaari Bindu' opposite Parineeti Chopra, which will go on floor this May.
"We are shooting in May. The film is 'Meri Pyaari Bindu' with parineeti. I am really excited about it. I will be playing a Bengali for the first time," the actor said at an event last night.
'Meri Pyari Bindu,' produced by Maneesh Sharma and Yash Raj Films, was announced by Parineeti with a special video, wherein she was seen singing a song. Akshay Roy will make his directorial debut with the film.
Expressing his excitement about the project, the 'Dum lagake Haisa' actor earlier tweeted, "So excited for my new -@yrf announcement Meri Pyaari Bindu with lovely and talented -@ParineetiChopra! Woot."
Earlier, in his debut movie 'Vicky Donor,' Ayushmann's character was seen romancing a Bengali girl, played by Yami Gautam.
