Taking a jibe at Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Azam Khan has said the former is still a kid and nobody takes him seriously.
Khan sarcastically said that he wondered as to why the nation did not take the Congress vice-president seriously.
"He should take some toffees along, have them, and distribute them among other kids too. I don't understand why this country doesn't take him seriously. He is doing a lot of work and travelling to various places," said Khan in when asked about Gandhi's recent trip to Bundelkhand.
The Congress vice-president, who undertook a seven-km 'padyatra' in drought-hit Bundelkhand of Uttar Pradesh earlier on Saturday, while addressing the villagers demanded that some of the money saved by the government due to big drop in crude oil prices be diverted to the region.
