Striker Carlos Bacca struck a first-half goal as Colombia subdued USA 1-0 to finish their Copa America Centenario campaign on the third spot at University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona on Sunday.
Bacca's goal in the 31st minute of the third-place playoff match was enough to hand his side with the victory and ensure USA finish their Copa America campaign on the fourth place.
Although USA had a great chance to level the score in the 51st minute of the match, Clint Dempsey's well-taken free kick was saved by Colombia's goalkeeper David Ospina.
With this result, USA stand settled at fourth place for the second consecutive summer in this competition.
