At least two suspected militants were killed in an operation of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in Bangladesh's West Harinal area of Gazipur city on Saturday.
The deaths have been confirmed by RAB media wing Assistant Director ASP Mizanur Rahman.
However, the identities could not be recognised immediately.
RAB 1 Deputy Director Mahiul Islam said that one AK 47 rifle, bomb making materials, one laptop, a locally-made sharp weapon and some bullets have been seized from them, reports Dhaka Tribune.
Earlier during the day, Joydevpur police station Officer-in-Charge Khandaker Rezaul Hasan Reza said that RAB personnel carried out the raid early Saturday after being informed about some militants staying in the locality.
