Pakistan's outlawed militant group blamed for 2001 Indian parliament attack, the Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM), has organized a rally attended by thousands of people in Muzaffarabad.
The banned group, headed by Maulana Masood Azhar, organized the rally as launching ceremony for a book authored by Kashmiri activist Mohammad Afzal Guru, convicted and executed in 2001 attacks, Dawn News reports.
Maulana Azhar strongly criticised India for "killing Kashmiri Muslims" and accused the country of carrying out terror activities in Pakistan.
Analysts described the rally as a show of strength by the group, the report added.
Guru, who was a resident of India-held Kashmir, was convicted for the 2001 attack, sentenced to death by a special Indian court in 2002, executed on February 9, 2013.
The rally coincided with India's Republic Day, which is observed as 'black day' on both sides of the Line of Control.
