Director John Turturro has reportedly credited his barber with helping him cast Woody Allen in his movie 'Fading Gigolo', which has been sold for 3 million dollars.
The 56-year old American actor revealed that they share the same barber, Anthony Silvestri, and he had mentioned the movie idea to him, who later told the 77-year old American screenwriter about it, the New York Post reported.
Allen was so impressed by the concept that he called Turturro to meet, and signed up for the role of a pimp.
