Delhi Police Commissioner B.S. Bassi on Friday asked the police officials to be sensitive towards the vulnerable sections, including women, children, scheduled castes and scheduled tribes.
"We have asked for sensitisation of police officers towards the vulnerable sections including women, children, scheduled castes and scheduled tribes. They have been trained on every possible thing. We have also emphasized on the knowledge of computer," said Bassi.
"Women have been trained in a way that they can tackle any situation unarmed. Women will fill one-third of the seats in the police, which I think will be very good," he added.
Bassi attended the Passing out Parade function of the 13th batch of Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands Police Service today.
