Expressing astonishment over the claims of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Dilip Pandey, Delhi Police Commissioner B.S. Bassi on Wednesday said he had never heard anyone make such claims in his long career.
"Never before in my long career have I heard someone say that Delhi Police driver attempted to crush them. If they have complained then we will seriously look into the matter," Bassi told media persons here.
"I assure you that we do not have anything against anyone, we don't have any prejudice towards anyone. Everyone has right to express their opinions," he added.
Pandey had claimed yesterday that he had a narrow escape when a Delhi police vehicle tried to run him over.
The AAP leader, has lodged an FIR in this regard, further said that he was saved by a party volunteer, who pushed him out of the vehicle's way.
