Two men, dressed as Batman and Spider-man, were arrested after getting involved in a fight with hecklers in New York.
The 41-year-old Jose Escalona-Martinez (Batman) and the 35-year-old Abdel Elkahezai (Spider-man) were offering pics of themselves in exchange for money from passers-by, the Daily Star reported.
The fight allegedly broke out when a 23-year-old heckler, Thomas Rorke, first grabbed the Dark Knight from behind, shouting "I'm gonna f*** you, Batman" and then attacked the Spider-man, who then sprayed Rorke with his web (actually Silly String).
Eyewitness Paul Smith said that Rorke was intoxicated and messing with Batman and they got into it and added that everybody, no matter what costume they are wearing, has the right to protect themselves.
Rorke was charged with assault, while Batman and Spider-Man were both charged with assault and harassment.
