"Baywatch" actor David Hasselhoff has claimed that he knew former Olympic decathlete Bruce Jenner wanted to be a woman for 30 years.
Revealing that both had been friends, Hasselhoff was quoted by The Mirror, as saying that he was baffled when he learnt that his pal had begun taking female hormones in the 1980s.
Bruce Jenner now goes by the name of Caitlyn Jenner, and Hasselhoff said that when he was initially informed, he couldn't figure out why Jenner was doing what he was doing, because he was such a good-looking guy.
But now, he and rest of the world know.
David said he was pleased that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has been able to address the situation and live comfortably as herself now.
He now thinks it was a cool thing to do, and everyone who needs to know, was comfortable with it.
