After portraying very intense characters like Ram and Peshwa Bajirao, Aditya Chopra's 'Befikre' came to Ranveer Singh as a holiday with ease, breeze and spontaneity which according to him was made in a 'happy phase.'

"I am on a holiday. I am not doing any film. 'Befikre' is happening just like that. I am on holiday- easy, breezy and spontaneous. I do what my heart says. I just let the camera roll and I go with the flow. It has been really nice and fun experience. Adi sir, I were in happy phase of our life 'touchwood.' We wanted to portray that. Hope it comes out so," told the best actor (for Bajirao Mastani) of IIFA 2016 during post-show press meet.

"I am ready to dive into some heavy intense work. I hope whatever film I get next will be something I really can sync my teeth into," he added.

Yash Raj Films produced 'Befikre,' that also stars Vaani Kapoor, is set for a December 9, 2016 release, which will mark the 1st birthday of director Aditya Chopra and Rani Mukherjee's baby girl Adira.

On other hand, it is rumoured that the 30-year-old actor, along with Deepika Padukone will start shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's yet another movie on Queen of Chittor Padmavati.

Ranveer will be portraying Alauddin Khilji who was obsessed for the Queen, played by Deepika.

Reportedly, 'Masaan' famed Vicky Kaushal has been roped in to portray Deepika's onscreen husband.
