French footballer Benjamin Pavard's stunning strike against Argentina in the round of 16 clash in the recently-concluded 21st edition of the FIFA World Cup Russia has been voted as the best goal of the tournament.
The 22-year-old pierced into opposition's defending area and scored a fabulous goal to level the scorecard 2-2 in the 57th minute of the match.
France went on to win the match 4-3 and later defeated Croatia 4-2 to clinch their second World Cup title.
Meanwhile, Colombian footballer Juan Quintero's free-kick against Japan in their group stage clash was voted as the second best goal of the tournament and Luka Modric's strike for Croatia against Argentina was the third best.
