Beyonce joins Jay Z at Cleveland campaign concert for Hillary Clinton

Queen Bey recently surprised the crowd in Cleveland during a campaign concert held few days before the US presidential elections.

The 'Get-Out-the-Vote' campaign concert in support of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton saw the Grammy-winner took to the stage shortly after her husband Jay Z performed a medley of his own hits over the years for the jam-packed crowd, reports E! Online.

The 35-year-old songstress opened her mini-concert with 'Formation' wearing blue pantsuits.

"There was a time when a woman's opinion did not matter," she told the cheering crowd, "... less than 100 years ago women did not have the right to vote, look how far we've come to having no voice to being on the brink of history by electing the first woman president."

"But we have to vote. The world looks to us as a progressive country that needs change," she urged.

Bringing in an example of her "daughter to grow up seeing a woman lead our country" and know that her "possibilities" are limitless, the 'Run The World' singer brought some serious star power to Clinton's campaign thus far.

Clinton has a number of celebrity open supporters who have come out to encourage their fans to come out and vote this November.

Earlier last week, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony held a concert in the honor of presidential candidate in Florida where Clinton was in attendance.

Miley Cyrus attended a rally in late October for Clinton in Virginia and even went door-to-door at the George Mason University dorms to encourage the college students to cast their votes.

Katy Perry has probably made it her mission to spread the word about Clinton and this year's election in general. The 'Rise' singer has performed at numerous concerts and rallies, most recently at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she sang 'Teenage Dream' and 'Waking Up in Vegas' while wearing a shirt with the words 'Nasty Woman' printed on it.

The 2016 American presidential election will take place on November 8.
