Beyonce has opened up about the birth of her daughter last January, saying that it was her connection to Blue Ivy that helped her through labor.
She told Marie Claire Australia that they were talking, ABC News reported.
And though it sounds crazy, but she felt a communication, the 32-year-old said.
She said imagining what her daughter was going through helped the singer get through the pain of labor.
When she was having contractions, she said that she envisioned her child pushing through a very heavy door, and imagined this tiny infant doing all the work, so she couldn't think about her own pain.
Beyonce and husband Jay-Z welcomed their first child in January, 2012, but the pop star said she started getting the maternal instinct even before then.
