Bhopal district collector declares district 'drought-affected'

Bhopal district collector Sudam Khade on Wednesday declared the district as 'drought affected.'

A list of conditions has been issued in the light of the matter which will remain applicable till July 31, 2019.

Due to scanty rainfall, the district of the state was declared drought-affected.

The collector has imposed a ban on the extraction of water through tube wells. Extraction of water from rivers, lakes, ponds, and rivers is also not allowed for industrial or commercial use.
