On his 73rd birthday, megastar Amitabh Bachchan has thanked all the fans for their affection.
The three-time National award-winning actor took to his Twitter page to say "I am overwhelmed with the affection that pours, and wish to thank them that do .. you are loved."
Having started on not such a good note in the industry, the 'Sholay' star, who was born in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, rose to fame with director Prakash Mehra's 'Zanjeer' in 1973. The film was a turning point in his career as he gave a string of hits after that.
His films like 'Abhimaan' and 'Namak Haraam' won him accolades all over.
